David has been assisting travel buyers develop their travel programmes through learning, networking and sourcing expert suppliers at live events in the business travel and technology sectors for more than 16 years. He started his career in sales at the Business Travel Show, and went on to launch business travel and technology exhibitions, conferences, awards and networking events across the globe.
Taking his deep understanding of the challenges the buyer community faces and gathered from running events, his new launch, Business Travel iQ enables business travel buying professionals to achieve travel programme excellence by providing trusted insight, benchmarking data and research through a unique community based information portal.
David is also the current event director of the Business Travel Show, founder of Travel Technology Europe in 2002 and the Business Travel Club in 2009. He was an associate director for the Institute of Travel & Meetings from 2011 to 2013.
